FaceTite: Better than a Facelift?

By June 28, 2021August 2nd, 202286 Comments

For natural-looking neck face enhancement at a fraction of the cost, with little-to-no downtime, FaceTite by InMode is a great option.

We can almost all agree that a full, surgical face or neck lift and the risks that tag along with it (general anesthesia, scarring, bleeding, potential infection, downtime) are huge. Where some individuals may benefit from a surgical facelift (from a cosmetic perspective), a procedure that is invasive is not really necessary to rejuvenate all faces.

I have good news. There are options out there that aren’t as monumental as a surgical face or neck lift, such as FaceTite by InMode. This procedure provides great results for patients who want a non-surgical facelift with natural-looking results.

InMode technologies are constantly improving. From BodyTite to FaceTite– InMode’s less-invasive cosmetic procedures are accessible for busy people who don’t want the downtime associated with a full surgical procedure, or for those who don’t feel the need for cosmetic enhancements to the drastic level that surgery provides at the current point in their life.

How does FaceTite work?

FaceTite is an in-office, minimally invasive procedure that provides lower face and neck tightening. This includes addressing double chins, jowls, nasolabial folds, and other areas with deep lines and loose skin- lifting, sculpting, and smoothing.

FaceTite is a directional radio frequency (RF) device that effectively and noticeably tightens and remodels the delicate skin of the face and neck through volumetric heating and fat coagulation- which simultaneously contracts and contours the skin( also called Radiofrequency Assisted Liposuction, RFAL). As a safe method of face and neck tightening, FaceTite has revolutionized the plastic and cosmetic surgery field by offering significant tightening effects.

The FaceTite Procedure

Once your treatment areas have been marked, the area to be treated is sterilely prepped and injected with a numbing solution. The FaceTite tool consists of an electrode that sits on top of the skin and a cannula that is inserted beneath the skin through small incisions are made. The unique FaceTite handpiece delivers RF energy (both internally and externally with precision-controlled heat monitoring, ensuring consistent skin-tightening effects) is applied to the skin. This heat introduced to the treatment area also melts subcutaneous fat, which is then gently and easily removed via liposuction from the FaceTite cannula. This re-contours underlying tissues while smoothing surface skin as well as stimulates elastin and collagen production. The dual treatment quickly slims and shapes the facial profile creating a tighter, lifted, and more youthful appearance.

FaceTite is performed under local anesthesia or light sedation with local anesthesia, a person is awake or sedated, depending on what is needed. Local anesthesia lasts for a short period of time and is often used for minor outpatient procedures. After the FaceTite procedure, patients can go home and may resume regular activities shortly after.

Some bruising, swelling, and soreness are to be expected post-procedure and you may be given a small dressing to wear for the first 48 hours after treatment. Some patients may experience slight discomfort, but it should be easily managed with over-the-counter medications. Many patients are able to mask the dressing with a scarf or large collar and return to normal, light activities almost immediately- as per clearance by their physician.

How soon will I see results from FaceTite?

FaceTite results can be seen immediately, with best results noticeable after 6 weeks, and continuing up to 12 months. Results can last for several years, depending on the patient’s lifestyle. Sun protection, a healthy diet, and exercise are encouraged to prolong FaceTite results.

Depending on your unique needs, results may vary from mild to dramatic and can be achieved in as little as one FaceTite procedure. This technology works best on patients with moderate signs of aging.
